Welcome to the exciting world of Junior Monopoly, a simplified version of the classic board game that's perfect for young players and families. This edition introduces children to the basics of trading, saving, and counting money while having fun. Let's dive into the rules and features that make Junior Monopoly an excellent choice for your little ones.

Junior Monopoly is designed for 2 to 4 players, aged 5 and up. The game comes with a colorful game board, 4 pawns, 28 Title Deed cards, 95 cards (40 Chance, 40 Community Chest, 15 Go to Jail), 32 houses, 12 hotels, 2 dice, and play money. The play money consists of 1s, 5s, 10s, 20s, and 50s, making it easier for kids to learn and handle.

Setting Up the Game
To start the game, each player chooses a pawn and places it on the 'GO' space. Shuffle the Title Deed cards and deal one to each player. These cards represent the properties on the board. The remaining cards are placed face down near the board. Shuffle the Chance and Community Chest cards separately and place them face down near the board. Each player is given 500 in play money.

Now that you're all set up, it's time to roll the dice and start your Junior Monopoly adventure!
Moving Around the Board

On their turn, each player rolls both dice and moves their pawn clockwise that number of spaces. If they land on an unowned property, they may buy it by paying the price listed on the Title Deed card. If they can't afford it, the property goes to auction. The highest bidder wins the property.
If a player lands on a property owned by another player, they must pay rent. The rent for a single property is the amount printed on the Title Deed card. If the property has a house or hotel, the rent is doubled.
Chance and Community Chest

If a player lands on a Chance or Community Chest space, they draw the top card and follow the instructions. These cards can make you pay money, collect money, go to jail, or other fun surprises. After following the instructions, place the card at the bottom of its stack.
If a player draws a 'Go to Jail' card, they move their pawn to the 'In Jail' space and cannot collect 200 for passing 'GO'. They can get out of jail by rolling doubles on their next turn or by using a 'Get Out of Jail Free' card.
Building Houses and Hotels

Once a player owns all the properties in a color group, they can start building houses. To build a house, a player must pay the cost listed on the Title Deed card. They can build up to four houses on each property. If a player owns all the properties in a color group and has four houses on each, they can build a hotel by paying the cost listed on the Title Deed card.
Building houses and hotels increases the rent for that property. This is a great way for players to earn more money and become the wealthiest player in Junior Monopoly!

Bankruptcy
If a player cannot pay their debts, they are declared bankrupt. They must sell their properties at auction to raise money. If they still cannot pay their debts, they are out of the game. The last player remaining is the winner of Junior Monopoly!
Remember, the goal of the game is to be the wealthiest player, not necessarily to own the most properties. Strategic trading and building can help you become the Junior Monopoly champion!
Junior Monopoly is more than just a game; it's an opportunity for children to learn essential life skills while having fun. So, gather your family and friends, roll the dice, and let the games begin! Who knows, you might just discover the next business tycoon in your midst.
