To assure the comfort and well-being of expecting mothers, new infants, and children, our medical professionals have received specialized training in pediatric and obstetric care (including the Webster method for turning breech newborns). A healthy pregnancy, an uncomplicated labor and delivery, and a child's full and healthy growth all depend on a spine that is functioning properly.

Pediatrics & Pregnancy

Your studies at Sherman College will equip you to provide medical attention to a wide variety of patients, including children and expecting mothers. A course in pediatrics is included in the required coursework, and students who are interested in pursuing more education may choose to take an elective in the subject. The International Chiropractic Pediatric Association has granted certification to a number of Sherman College professors and instructors (ICPA). As part of this certification program, two professors from Sherman College serve as ICPA teachers. In this capacity, they travel the world to educate and train chiropractors from other countries.
