Pet Pass

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 15, 2026

Pet Pass ("the App") is developed and operated by Sandeep Mysore. This policy explains exactly what data the App handles and why. Where data leaves your device, we say so.

What stays on your device

There is no account and no cloud sync. We do not run servers that receive this data. Everything is created on the device and stored in the App's private storage (or your browser's storage if you use the web version).

Camera and photos

The App asks for camera or photo library access only when you choose to take or pick a photo for a passport portrait or the album. Photos are copied into the App's private storage and are never uploaded. When you save a passport image, the App adds it to your photo library only at your request.

Sharing

When you tap Share, the App creates an image of the passport on your device and hands it to your phone's share sheet. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose a destination.

Advertising (free version of the iOS and Android apps)

The free version shows occasional full-screen ads from Google AdMob. Ads are never shown in the web version or to users with Diplomatic Status. To serve and measure ads, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect:

This data is collected and processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. Learn how Google uses information from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Your pets' profiles, photos and records are never shared with Google or any advertiser.

Your choices about ads

In-app purchase

Diplomatic Status is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store your payment details.

Analytics

The App does not use analytics or crash-reporting services of its own.

Children

Pet Pass is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are limited to content rated for general audiences.

Data retention and deletion

Your pets' data lives only on your device and stays there until you delete it. To remove everything, open the App and tap Me › Erase all records, or uninstall the App. See Delete your data for step-by-step instructions. Data collected by Google for advertising is retained under Google's policies.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
