Valid characters are any letter from any language, any whitespace character, any numeric character, and the following characters: underscore ( _ ), period ( . ), colon ( : ), slash ( / ), equal ( = ), plus ( + ), backslash ( \ ), hyphen ( - ), at symbol ( @ ).
