2.9 magnitude earthquake hit South Sudan’s capital Juba

JUBA — Residents of South Sudan capital Juba have reported a 2.9 magnitude earthquake in several areas in the capital.

Residents said the earthquake hit the Hai Matar area near the Juba International Airport. No casualties have however been reported.

“There is a earthquake in Juba today. It has been said that it is a 2.9 magnitude earthquake. We don’t know what will happen next,” one resident was quoted by Nyamilepedia.
