JUBA – South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Saturday evening issued a republican order revoking the appointment of at least 35 members of parliament who were appointed by him via a presidential decree in May.

This comes after the South Sudanese head of state was angered after learning that an earlier directive from him to have all the elected lawmakers be reinstated to parliament was not respected by the acting SPLM secretary-general Jemma Nunu Kumba.

In a separate decree on Saturday evening, Kiir reinstated at least 35 lawmakers who were elected popularly during the 2010 elections. Though the move was welcomed, one of the elected lawmakers has been left out and is demanding answers from Kiir.

So, who are the lawmakers whose appointment was revoked by President Salva Kiir on Saturday and who are the incoming colleagues who were reinstated back to their previous seats?

The lists below were first published by Talk of Juba.
