Government laments British aid cut

JUBA – South Sudan government has lamented as ‘inhuman’ the British aid cut to the world’s youngest country asking of what went wrong in regards to relations between London and Juba.

Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management Peter Mayen Majongdit said the aid cut is inhuman and that it is time for the world to have pay attention to the deteriorating situation in the world’s youngest country

“We look at it so unfriendly and so inhuman to cut aid at this particular time. It is the time when we need the world’s attention like never before,” Mayen is quoted by the London-based Sky News as saying.

“We asked, what went wrong in our relationship with the British Government? We felt it was time to double their efforts,” he wondered.
