Governors’ forum kicks off in Juba

Established in 2006 by the Office of the President, with collaborative support from the UNDP and various partners, this forum is a pivotal annual event.

JUBA – The annual Governors’ Forum has kicked off, gathering key stakeholders to deliberate on the states’ development agenda.

Established in 2006 by the Office of the President, with collaborative support from the UNDP and various partners, this forum is a pivotal annual event.

The primary objective of this assembly is to serve as a platform for comprehensive discussions regarding the developmental priorities of the states.

Governors from across South Sudan have convened to exchange insights, strategies, and crucial perspectives aimed at fostering the advancement of their respective regions.

As a collaborative initiative, the forum emphasizes addressing critical issues related to state development, peace, and governance.

It seeks to harness collective expertise and experiences to pave the way for effective and sustainable growth across the nation’s diverse regions.
