OPINION – I would  like to clarify this issue of first vice President  to Mr. Andrew Kuong Ruach Lam and the rest of the SPLM I0 supporters as well as the South Sudanese people that, the first vice President is not under house arrest. I want to remind the author that,  your statements  are not only false information but also it is outrageous to release such  unfounded allegations against the currently President and the government as a whole.

In case if the first vice President still under detention perhaps,  it would have nothing to do with the government of South Sudan, because we have never heard his release from the IGAD leaders and the AU respectively therefore,  the Idea of  rushing to open the wounds which is not going to benefit us at the time of seeking lasting peace, reunification and the healing process is out touch.

Second to that,  I think the peace agreement is absolutely a take and give back  which means,  both sides of the  parties to peace agreement need to show their commitment,  willing and most importantly each and every one of them  must make a compromises so that,  the implementation and the whole  process will go smoothly.

I understand that,  the SPLM-IO led by the first vice President Dr. Riek Machar knowing only  how to  pointing  theirs  fingers on the President Salva Kiir when in reality,  the President have done his part even the International community have acknowledged,  UN, and Africa leaders have projected his fully commitment. Dr. Riek Machar Teny is not the man of changes this is fact we have to tell that and  also he is not a good leader who can sell the concept of democracy system either.

Thirdly,  the author: Andrew Lam must be told to avoid the use of language threatening because  who doesn’t know that we have gone through the wars of  Ideologically for 3 decades since he break away from the late Chairman Dr.John Garang and he thought about invaded the Twic East communities before  joining to Khartoum government and fought  side by side against his Southern Sudan yet, it didn’t work out.

This is the time we have to tell the truth about who have and have not. It is unusual for any official  to  serve as a  first vice President of the national government for the country on the other hand,  he is dragging himself to listen to those racially militia generals. Dr. Riek Machar has been dancing back and forth for 30 years and come back doing same negative that make him failed years ago. If I was him frankly,  I would have  resign seriously from the political career and relaxed, because it doesn’t make sense to say,  you are the  leader of changes while,  your politic is divided people into tribalism. He seem to support small government when the President Salva Kiir created more States that were demands by the people but when the power sharing started then, he was demanding a big positions and big government and that tells us that,  he has no idea on how the government should be runs.

In addition to  exaggeration and propaganda made by the author. He said, “the 2013 event was an uprising by Nuers people, because there were about 20,000 people were killed in three days and it is not true.  The fact the matter is,  there was a killing took place in South Sudan’s capital Juba but the real numbers for those  who  have been killed were about 654  for 3 days fighting and the UNMISS  personnel have been repeated,  there was a killing but not a genocide.  These numbers were not Nuers people only  but it was a combination of all South Sudanese citizens including Dinka. I think the author must be careful about reopening some wounded that need to be healing at this point.

Finally,   I think the author: Lam was accusing any direction that came to his mind but  he is lacking understanding the game of politics.  He thought  the ruling party SPLM was behind the massive defections of the SPLM I0 both in political forces and the Military ranking  officers but he failed to take note from the time when Dr. Riek Machar and many more others signed the Khartoum peace agreement fooling them that, they have to  fights against the late Chairman Dr.John and if they defeated the SPLA Torit faction then, the Southern Sudan Regions would be hands over to them unfortunately,  all of them were losing more and more towns to the SPLA led by the late Chairman Dr.John Garang and the current President Salva Kiir Mayardit leaving the former President of Sudanese no other choice but to  sideline on Nassir faction and focusing about the Torit faction.

There were many people defected before the CPA arrived and I think the recently massive defections on the SPLM I0 is absolutely a normal and it is Also an individualsm rights to decide. Eventually,  the switching sides have nothing to do with the accusation saying,  there was a conspiracy behind the defection. For many years the supporters of Dr. Riek Machar didn’t know how their leader will performing well  if  landing in the presidency office by  any imagination assumption let me put it that way however,  the appointment of his wife and his Son in law and others family  has changed the minds of his most SPLM I0 supporters and I believe there is a coup waiting Dr. Riek Machar Teny within his own SPLA I0 forces should he visited the headquarters of his SPLA I0 forces.
