JUBA – South Sudan’s minister of humanitarian affairs and disaster management Peter Mayen Majongdit has removed the head of the People’s Liberal Party and opposition consortium Other Political Parties.

This comes days after the controversial minister sparked calls for President Salva Kiir Mayardit to remove him from the ministerial position after stabbing and detaining his wife in his hometown of Kuajok.

Speaking to reporters in Juba this afternoon, Deng Ayok Deng, interim Chairperson People Liberal Party said Mayen will not be allowed to associate with People’s Liberal Party from today.

“We are here as a party, it has come to our knowledge that peter Mayen Majongdit who is the minister of humanitarian affairs representing OPP has become a liability to the integrity and the image of PLP, therefore on August 2, the membership of Peter Mayen as interim chairman is withdrawn for several reasons among them is a violation of the constitution and the guiding prince of PLP,” Ayok told reporters in Juba,

For his part, Abraham Bungkuac Alic, interim chairman for opposition umbrella, said the PLP have withdrawn Mayen’s membership and the umbrella of political parties has no way to honor Mayen.

“We form political parties for the people of South Sudan, for good governance and for the development and not for individuals’ interests,” he said.

Albino Akol Atak OPP spokesman said: “We the five signatories of the OPP hereby endorse the decision of the umbrella to disown peter Mayen as their chairman, the decision is in the interest of the implementation of the peace agreement.”

“We call upon the RTGONU, IGAD, and RJMEC not to transact any further business with peter Mayen on behalf of OPP,”

Another opposition told Sudans Post separately that Peter Mayen is no longer a leader of the opposition umbrella because he has this afternoon been removed as head of his party and of the umbrella.

“He was selected as head of the OPP because he was the chairman of the People’s Liberal Party,” the official told Sudans Post from Juba. “Now because he has been removed by his party given what he did recently, he has no reason to stay as OPP leader.”

According to the opposition official, Peter Mayen’s dismissal from the party is effective from this afternoon and called on President Salva Kiir Mayardit to return the ministerial position Peter Mayen holds to the OPP alliance.

“We call on President Salva Kiir Mayardit to remove him from the position of minister of humanitarian affairs and appoint someone who we have already selected to replace him in our position given to us by the revitalized peace agreement,” he added.

“BREAKING | Peter Mayen fired as party, OPP leader after stabbing wife”

Mr. Mayen is not a fool, he know what is he is doing. His party is just ‘a brief case party’ just like many parties in here South Sudan’. However, we Mr. Peter Mayen is not a man who can bully his wife, but as always, ‘attach them is what some creeps and detractors always used to play with our country and our people.

*Humanitarian aids, donations, UN peacekeeping, human rights, UN NEW WORLD ORDER, GOVERNMENT WITHOUT BORDERS or the so-called AFRICA UNITY and REGIONAL INTEGRATION*.

Good luck to the vermins/parasites/viruses. They are going to be ‘WIPED OUT OF MAP, ONCE and for ALL, reasons, pure HATRED and RACISM’.
