“[The] leadership of the Presbytery Church of South Sudan and Sudan conducted a prayer inside the office of the First Vice President, Dr. Riek Machar Teny,” the statement seen by Sudans Post read in part.
“The delegation mainly composed of Moderators led by the Moderator General, Reverend Peter Gai Lual, prayed for peace and well-being of the collective leadership in the country. The top Church leaders come from various congregations in the former Greater regions across the country,” it added.
The statement further said the “Church leaders asked him to remain seated on his chair while the prayer was being conducted.”
