Slate Nation left fans craving at Melbourne concert with Nigerian singer Rema

Slate Nation took the advantage to tease fans of his upcoming new single, ‘Kalamat Ta Juba’ sparking applause and left the fans craving for more of it.

MELBOURNE – Popular South Sudanese singer Ngot Peter Mou Athuai who is better known to fans as Slate Nation last week took control of stage after he was offer to sing alongside Nigerian Singer Rema currently visiting Australia.

The concert was organized last week in Melbourne for the Nigerian mavin rave act artist who gave the platform to the several artists, including the South Sudanese singer, in order to showcase their talent.

Slate Nation took the advantage to tease fans of his upcoming new single, ‘Kalamat Ta Juba’ sparking applause and left the fans craving for more of it.

Besides showcasing little of his upcoming song, the popular South Sudanese musician made South Sudanese-Australians proud as he agitated audience with his masterpieces of songs like ‘Juba juice’, and ‘Nyanbim’ among others.

One of those attending the event said she was thankful for the concert and “wanted to stay here because it makes me feel relaxed.” Another fan calling herself Julia says she is “not going home. I am staying her.”

The event was organized by Prince Entertainment Events that was founded by international DJ Friday and Gly concept.

Slate Nation is a South Sudanese-born Australian artiste, and songwriter who started his carrier as a choir-member at Don Bosco Missionary School in Tonj of South Sudan’s Warrap state.

He formed the music group T.E.C Hiroz in 2010 recording his first song ‘come back home’ dedicated to South Sudanese who had fled the 21-year-old Sudanese civil war.
