MALAKAL – A barge carrying 27 South Sudan People Defense Forces (SSPDF) military vehicles has arrived in the Upper Nile State capital, Malakal.

The army vehicles were received on arrival by the acting Governor of Upper Nile State, Nyanuer William Nyuon, leaders of security forces, among others on Friday.

A press statement from the office of the Upper Nile State governor noted that the military vehicles will be distributed among three key military divisions in the state.

“Division 1, Division 2 and Maban Operations are among those expected to receive their share of the vehicles,” it reads in part.
