In a statement, Dr. Suzan John Madut Garang, former Chairperson of Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) for Northern Bahr el Ghazal State addressed the resignation letter to SPLM-IO leader Machar and said she would focus on personal issues.
“I am privilege to extend my resignation from SPLM- 10 effective today October 9th 2022. Thank you for the opportunity that you give me to work with you, I have learned a lot about SPLM-10 and your leadership,” she said in the statement dated 9th October 2022.
“Reason of resignation I would like to focus on my family and personal affairs far from politics,” she added.
She further wished Machar and “the SPLM-IO the best in the future, and hope that they can help change this country for the better.”
