KUAJIOK –  Suspected Unity state cattle raiders have killed at least twelve people including two South Sudan People’s Defense Force (SSPDF) in South Sudan’s Warrap state.

A senior Apuk North county official said several houses have been set ablaze by the suspected armed youth.

“Many cattle have been looted and many houses have been set on fire by the youth who come from Mayom county. These people have now killed 10 civilians and two SSPDF soldiers,” Albino Akol was quoted by Eye Radio.

He said the government has deployed forces to quell the situation.
