JUBA – The governor of South Sudan’s Western Bahr el Ghazal state Sarah Cleto Hassan Rial met on Wednesday in Juba with the Chinese ambassador to the world’s youngest country Hua Ning and discussed developmental projects spearheaded by the Chinese government in her state.

In a statement, Governor Cleto described the meeting as fruitful, but did not reveal details of the developmental projects the Chinese government is implementing in Western Bahr el Ghazal state.

“[I was in a] fruitful meeting with Chinese Ambassador to South Sudan Juba Mr. Hua Ning. The session discussed developmental projects for Western Bahr El Ghazal State,” she said in the statement seen by Sudans Post.

“I am so glad to have the commitment of the Chinese people in support of Western Bahr El Ghazal State and South Sudan governments in general to offer better services for the citizens,” she added.
