“The political leaders of the current government in Yambio should abstain from resolving their differences in a violent manner. Triggering violent approach for mitigating political differences is unaccepted and the top leadership of the country should immediately intervene in Yambio political crisis before it get worse and uncontrollable,” Yakani stressed.
He said that “The trend of cultivate political frictions that leads to violent confrontation is a demonstration of political indiscipline behaviors and attitudes of undermining successful political transitional process in the state and the country at large.”
“Finally, CEPO is urging the members of the uniform institutions to avoid engaging in the political frictions in Yambio. Let the politicians face themselves and the top leadership of the country under the presidency should apply the principle of resolving political frictions with change of leadership as applied recently in some states.”
