KHARTOUM — The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement North (SPLM-North) led by Malek Agar has said that it’s deputy leader Yasir Saed Arman is still missing since his arrest by security forces allied to the country’s military last week.
Yasir Arman was arrested by members of the military when Sudanese armed forces commander Abdelfattah al Burhan dissolve the government after declaring a state of emergency on October 24.
Mohamed Saleh, a senior member of the group said SPLM-North does not yet know where Arman is being held by the military saying his family are still being concerned.
”We cannot trust the military because of their denying access or provision of any information regarding him and also his denied visit by his immediate family”, Saleh said.
“When his brother went to asked about him he was denied access to information”, he added.
