Saviours of the Coast
Mangroves have been threatened by deforestation for decades, as agriculture and aquaculture, urban development and harvesting have caused the loss of more than a quarter of mangrove forests in the past 50 years. This is an inspiring story of the women who champion the preservation of vital mangroves in Gazi village, Kwale County.
