On Saturday, September 27, 2025, more than 3,000 Kenyans joined the Integrity Walkathon, an annual event organised by Transparency International Kenya (TI-Kenya). This year’s theme, “Stepping Forward for Transparency & Accountability,” reinforced the urgent need to confront graft while empowering citizens to demand accountability. The 8‑kilometre walk began at Freedom Corner, Uhuru Park, and ran alongside the International Day for Universal Access to Information (IDUAI), underscoring the role of information as a cornerstone of democracy. The Integrity Walk 2025 is a major national civic event in Kenya, designed to mobilize public action against corruption, whose core objective is to unite citizens, civil society, private sector leaders, and public officials in a powerful, visible demonstration of the demand for ethical governance and accountability. Our photojournalist Jimmy Kitiro captured key moments during the march.
