Commercial Vehicle Operations for Wichita Area Roles and Responsibilities

Stakeholder	Role and Responsibility
Commercial Vehicle Operators	Commercial vehicle operators will respond to commands from either Prepass equipment and the Kansas Highway Patrol instructing them to pull into a roadside safety inspection facility.
	Commercial vehicle operators are responsible for transporting goods including both long haul trucks and local pick up in the Wichita Area.
CVO Check Station Group	The CVO check station group is responsible for operating the roadside equipment used at CVO check stations to verify proper weights, credential, and safety information.
Kansas Highway Patrol	Kansas Highway Patrol is responsible for verifying safety and credential information of commercial vehicle drivers once they have pulled into a check station.
