Welcome to Shortreed Consulting! My name is Kelly Shortreed, and I have been working in the IT industry for over 30 years. I started my career as a programmer-analyst and have since held various roles, including PC support, network administration, and home automation.
I've spent the marjority of my career working for a variety of companies in various capacities. I've done everything from PC Helpdesk technician to Systems Administraion for large multi-national corporations. My first job was as a programmer-analyst. I even tried my hand at developing my own commercial software program Amort-Plus back in 1987.
I still enjoy programming. But no longer do it full-time. I focus most of my energy now on home automation and network security. My programming efforts today are limited mostly to VBA (check out what I can do for your Excel Spreadsheets) and javascript
