Krug Park.

Krug Park is found at the northern end Parkway St. Joseph in Saint Joseph. The park is known for its extensive landscaping, flowerbeds and structures that are inspired by the Italian Renaissance. Krug Park was opened May 6, 1902. It is accessed via a stone gateway. Krug Park was home to alligators as well as exotic animals. There were also old war guns and the Robidoux Cabin. Joseph Robidoux claimed it was his.

About St. Joseph

St. Joseph is a city in and the county seat of Buchanan County, Missouri. Small parts of St. Joseph extend into Andrew County.[2] Located on the Missouri River, it is the principal city of the St. Joseph Metropolitan Statistical Area, which includes Buchanan, Andrew, and DeKalb counties in Missouri and Doniphan County, Kansas. It is the birthplace of rapper and songwriter Eminem, who grew up in and has made his career in Detroit, Michigan.[5] In the nineteenth century, it was the death place of American outlaw Jesse James.
