Dr. Dan Margolin has been a surgeon for 20 years. M.D. started Physician Aesthetic Specialists. Dr. Margolin's professional background adds a new level to aesthetic treatments. The directions to the Physician Aesthetic Specialists offices are simple. The practice is easily accessible from I-35 and 435 in Lenexa. Our practice is only minutes from Overland Park in Kansas, Shawnee and Olathe in Kansas, and Kansas City in Missouri.
What are the treatments? It depends on what area is being treated. The application of a numbing gel to the area should be done approximately 20 minutes before the procedure. There might be some discomfort but no pain. Local anesthesia and numbing cream will be used to treat areas that require more intensive treatment. We recommend that you return to our office within 24 to 48 hours to receive further treatment. This includes any additional drainage of excess sebum. The treatment involves inserting an insulated needle in the fat pad or wrinkle to treat acne. Radio frequency is used to trigger the right number of pulses for each area.
What does recovery look like? There may be some swelling, redness and bruising in the first week. Deeper treatments may cause numbness that lasts up to 4 weeks. When can I expect to see the results? The area treated may appear worse after the procedure, which is normal. As your body heals over the weeks and months that follow the procedure, you'll notice a noticeable difference in collagen formation and skin tightening. This will allow you to mold your structure back to the desired appearance. It is possible to get the best results with just one treatment. However, not all procedures can be done in one go. It is possible to get the best results with multiple treatments.
