Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours’ change: Maximum temperatures rose in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. 

Departures: They were markedly above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and appreciably above normal in the rest of the region.

The highest temperature in the region was 43.°C recorded at Hindon (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of April 21: The weather will be mainly dry over the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of April 21: Mainly clear sky. The maximum temperature will be around 40°C.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of April 21: The sky will be mainly clear.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
