Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. Rewari (Haryana) recorded 2 cm of rainfall.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose appreciably in Punjab, rose in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and east Uttar Pradesh and changed a little elsewhere. Departures: They were appreciably below normal in Haryana and Punjab, below normal in Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region.

The highest temperature in the region was 42.8° C recorded at Bikaner (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of June 5: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region.

Isolated duststorms/thunderstorms are likely in west Rajasthan.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of June 5 : Partly cloudy sky with possibility of thundery development/light rain in some areas. Maximum temperature will be around 36° C.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of June 5: Light rain is likely at a few places.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
