“Fake” postal covers in circulation
Chandigarh, January 22
Philatelists in the country are being taken for a ride with “fake” postal covers in circulation. Certain unscrupulous dealers of philatelic material are misusing the permission by the Department of Posts to print unapproved special postal covers.

The special postal cover on “300 years of forgiveness of 40 Muktas” bears a screened special post mark which has not been approved by the Postal Department.

PEC to hold special 8-week term
