 Household budgets are going haywire as prices of items of daily use refuse to stabilise. With inflation at all-time high, rates of products right from the milk and pulses, to flour, sugar and vegetables have recorded a hike of 10 per cent to 25 per cent within past one month itself.

SHO suspended for illegal detention

 SSP R.K.Jiaswal yesterday suspended SHO Division No. 7 Pawanjit for allegedly detaining   and manhandling a few residents of Mundian village, who had come to report about a street brawl.  The SSP said after an inquiry report submitted by a
DSP, the complaint was found to be genuine and immediate action was taken. The new SHO would be posted tomorrow.
