Robbers’ gang busted, 4 held

The Payal police has arrested four members of a notorious gang that had been involved in stealing electrical equipments, including transformers for over a year.
The police has also seized stolen goods worth Rs 10 lakh from various places disclosed by the burglars. The police has also seized two vehicles used in the crime.

Prices of veggies continued to dip over the past one week even as onion registered a slight rise. Prices of fruits, however, remained static.
In the wholesale market, potatoes are available at Rs 2 per kg while last week they were priced at Rs 2-3. The retail rate is Rs 3 per kg.

NSS camp begins
