When we started our campaign to Save the Manuals in 2010, we never imagined a future like this-a psuedo-manual gearbox for an EV. Toyota's prototype features both an H. It's a six-speed manual transmission and a third pedal in the footwell.

Making this car extra exceptional is the fact that it's a Lexus UX 300e. Toyota's trying hard to shake both its sensible-shoes reputation and the perception it's been dragging its heels on all. The Lexus UX300e is an electric crossover available in Europe, China, and Japan, but not usually with three pedals or a gear lever.
