Description
Public Works is responsible for over 600 miles of roads and 657 bridges within Sedgwick County.The Highway Department handles the operations and maintenance of roads, bridges and intersections to ensure safe passage throughout the County. The Stream Maintenance Department maintains certain watercourses to help minimize flooding, erosion and property
damage. The Noxious Weed Department is responsible for the control and eradication of noxious weeds on all County property.
