Last updated: April 23, 2026. Weekaro is a focused family planner for drop-off, pick-up, multiple children and date-specific exceptions. The actual family content is encrypted on the device before it is sent to the cloud.

2. Purpose of the app

Why Weekaro processes data

Weekaro helps families coordinate who handles drop-off, who handles pick-up and which exception applies on a specific weekday. To keep two paired devices in sync, the app transfers an encrypted group state.

3. End-to-end encryption

The server cannot read the plan

Parent names, children, weekly rules, exceptions and log entries live inside the encrypted group state. The app encrypts this content on the device before upload. The server stores only ciphertext and technical sync metadata.

5. Camera and QR

Why camera access is needed

The camera is used only to scan the pairing QR code from another device. Weekaro does not use the camera for location tracking or any ongoing background recording.

6. Push notifications

How push works technically

When one device changes the plan, Weekaro can send a push notification to the other paired device. That requires a technical push token. The push message does not contain the decrypted family plan.

7. Infrastructure

Apple and Google services

Weekaro uses Apple services for in-app purchases and push delivery, and Google Cloud for its API, database and hosting of the encrypted synchronization data.

8. Tracking and ads

No advertising SDKs

In the current product version, Weekaro does not include advertising SDKs and does not sell or share family content with ad networks.

9. Storage and deletion

How you can remove data

you can remove local app data in Weekaro or delete the app
you can revoke paired devices
you can revoke push permission and camera access in iOS
existing encrypted group data remains available to active paired devices
