What Is An AFSL Auditor

AFSL (Australian Financial Services License) Auditors, or as they are sometimes known, AFSL Auditors, are accountants licensed to perform audits of financial institutions in Australia. The Australian Financial Services Licensing Authority (AFLSA) regulates the auditing industry and licenses AFSL Auditors to conduct audits by the Australian Financial Services Act. The AFLSA has two main types of license: 1. The AFSL - This license is for the individual undertaking an audit for a client. 2. The AFSL Audit Supervisor - This license is for the supervisor of an AFSL auditor who is supervising an AFSL auditor. An AFSL auditor must be registered with the AFLSA and obtain an AFSL before they can conduct any audits in Australia. What is the difference between an AFSL and an AFSL Auditor? There are some critical differences between an AFSL and an auditor. An AFSL is someone who has completed an AFSL course and passed the examination.
