Hello Chris. This is Phyllis Summa, Don's wife. Unfortunately Don has dementia consistent with Alzheimers so he wouldn't be much help to you and that's why I'm writing. Yes, Julius and Betty are Don's aunt & uncle. Don's dad was Andrew, one of Julius' brothers. Julius passed away from brain cancer several years ago and Betty is in a nursing home in Mexico near her daughter Ann. Betty is 95 and has had Alzheimers for many, many years. Their son Jimmy owned a jewelry store in Kirkwood and just liquidated his inventory and retired a few months ago. He still lives in Kirkwood. Nazareth di Benga was Don's grandmother and mother to his dad and 7 other siblings. The only Summa sibling still alive is Virginia (Summa) Smith.
Aunt Virginia is 96 but still sharp and if you're looking for information on the family, she would be the one to contact. Her oldest son Wayne has done extensive research on the Summa family going back to Nazareth and forward and he has made a family tree which I believe he has on the ancestry website.
