Terms of Use Down Zero (com.krumblelabs.downzero) — effective August 13, 2026

Down Zero is a scorekeeping app for practical shooting training, made by Krumble Labs, the name under which an independent developer based in Peru publishes this app. These terms explain what the app is, what it is not, and what you can and cannot expect from it.

These terms are not your licence

Your licence to install and use Down Zero comes from the store you installed it from — Apple's Standard End User License Agreement for the App Store, and the default licence granted under the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement for Google Play. We supply no licence agreement of our own to either store.

These terms add what those agreements cannot say, because they are written for every app rather than for this one. Where anything here conflicts with the store's licence agreement, the store's agreement governs.

What Down Zero is

It is a training aid. You record times and points down, and it does the scoring arithmetic for you, following IPSC Minor scoring rules.

What Down Zero is not

It is not an official scoring system. Results it produces have no standing at any match, are not a substitute for a match's own scoring, and should not be relied on to settle a result. It is a training tool, and its arithmetic can only be as right as what you enter.

It is not a safety device and not a substitute for range safety. Nothing in this app replaces the rules of your range, the instructions of a Range Officer, or your own responsibility for the safe handling of firearms. Never let a phone take your attention while handling a firearm.

Not affiliated with IPSC

Down Zero is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the International Practical Shooting Confederation or any of its Regions. IPSC is a registered trademark of the International Practical Shooting Confederation. We use the name only to describe the scoring rules the app implements, and claim no rights in it.

Your data is yours, and only yours

Everything you enter stays on your device. The app makes no network requests and sends nothing to us. We hold no copy of your data.

That has a consequence worth stating plainly: you are the only custodian of your data. If you uninstall the app, lose your device, or delete your entries, that data is gone. We cannot recover it, because we never had it. If your training records matter to you, keep a device backup with Apple or Google.

See the Privacy Policy for the full picture of what the app does and does not do with data.

Using the app

Use Down Zero for its purpose and within the law. Do not copy, sell, rent, or redistribute it, and do not attempt to decompile or reverse engineer it beyond what the law expressly allows you to do regardless of this restriction.

Ownership

The app, its name, its design, and its content belong to Krumble Labs, except for third-party components used under their own licences. These terms give you no ownership of anything.

Updates and availability

We may update the app, change what it does, or stop publishing it. We are not obliged to provide updates, support, or continued availability. The app works offline, so a version already installed keeps working whether or not a newer one exists.

No warranty

The app is provided as it is. We do not promise that it is free of defects, that its calculations fit any particular purpose, or that it will always be available. Read the section below before relying on this.

Liability, and the rights you keep regardless

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss of data, loss of training records, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app.

That limitation does not apply where the law does not permit it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for wilful misconduct or fault, nor any liability or right that cannot be waived under Peruvian consumer protection law — in particular the Código de Protección y Defensa del Consumidor, Ley N.º 29571, under which a clause excluding or limiting a supplier's liability for wilful misconduct or fault has no effect. If you are a consumer elsewhere, nothing here removes the mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of your own country.

Ending these terms

You can stop being bound by these terms at any time by uninstalling the app. The sections on ownership, warranty, and liability continue to apply to your use of it up to that point.

Language

These terms are published in English and Spanish. Where the two texts differ, the Spanish text governs. The Spanish version is at terms.es.html.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the courts of Lima, Peru. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country of residence.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the updated version will be published here with a revised effective date before the app release it applies to.
