Region: France
Audience: Players under 18

Welcome, adventurer! Before you enter the dungeon, here are the important rules, explained simply. If anything is not clear, ask an adult in your clan.
Donjons & Savons turns the chores of the house into monsters to defeat. By really helping your family, you earn experience, levels and rewards chosen by your parents. Your family forms your "clan".
To play, you are the one who starts: on your phone, you first say whether you feel like playing. Your answer does not say who you are. The game shows it as a QR code to an adult who is responsible for you (a parent or your guardian), or you send it to them as a link. They read it, and then they are the one who decides: if they agree, they accept the rules of the game and invite you into their clan. Then all you have to do is scan their invitation, or open their link with the secret code they tell you, and sign in. Until you have signed in, the game keeps nothing about you, not on your phone and not anywhere else: if you close the game before that, everything starts again from the beginning. And if you do not want to play, there is nothing to keep. The adult is the one who decides which chores you can do and who checks your work. If you join another clan later on, it will always be by invitation from an adult, but the grown-up who answers for you is still the one from your first clan.
When they brought you in, the game reminded them that they are declaring they are your legal guardian and that they agree to the game keeping your information. They are the one who answers for what they declared. Their own rules are here: the grown-ups' terms of service; you can read them together if you want to know everything.
The monsters are imaginary, but the chores are real! Only do the chores your parents have given you, and always ask an adult for help with anything that could be dangerous: cleaning products, electrical appliances, heavy objects or things up high. No experience point is worth an injury.
You sign in with a Google account. Your nickname and your clan's name can only be seen by the members of your clan: outside your clan, the game gives both of them another, made-up name. If you play in several clans, the members of your other clans also see your nickname, your avatar and your title, and nothing else. No other clan can see who you are, or what you do. There is no messaging, no chat, and you cannot meet anyone you do not know in the game.
You can play in several clans, for example in your grandparents' clan, if your parents agree. They can also take you out of a clan.
Choose a kind nickname: no bad words, no meanness. And do not put your surname, your address or the name of your school in it: keep that to yourself.
The game only keeps what it needs for you to play: your nickname, your avatar, what you tell about your character, your experience. It does not know your date of birth. The photos and videos you take to prove that a chore is finished never go out to the Internet, and they erase themselves as soon as your chore has been checked. Your videos never record sound. There is no advertising at all in the game.
What can leave the game only leaves it if an adult in your clan decides so: when the clan's chest is opened, the game can write the story of your clan's adventures so it can be shared. That story contains the players' nicknames and the tasks you have defeated: never your real name, your address, your photos or your videos. It is always an adult who chooses whether to share it, or not.
Everything is explained in detail in Your secret information.
The game is paid for by the family: an adult in your clan pays a subscription, and the whole clan benefits from it. A shop may also offer things to buy (new chores, quests, potions, classes, themes, avatars), but only the adults of your clan can buy anything there.
You never have to pay. You cannot buy anything, and the game will never ask you for money or for a card number. If a window asks you for money or for a code, something is wrong: call an adult straight away.
And above all, nothing that can be bought does your chores for you: tidying your room always takes the same effort. Levels are still earned by defeating real monsters. As for your rewards, they come from your parents, not from a shop.
And what if one day the adult who pays cannot manage it any more? Don't worry: the game does not stop all at once. Your clan keeps going for several weeks, and it is not for you to sort out: that is a grown-up matter. If nobody starts the subscription again, your clan eventually goes to sleep, and its information is erased two years after it went to sleep. It is never your fault, and you lose nothing of what you really did.
Right at the start, the game asks you to choose a region of the world: that is where your information is kept. For now it is France. Each region has its own rules of the game, because the laws are not the same everywhere. Your rules are the ones on this page. And because your information stays in its region, everyone in your clan must have chosen the same one as you.
When you come of age, one of the grown-ups who answer for you (your parent, or the adult who is your legal guardian) will be able to "declare you an adult" in the game. You will then have to accept the grown-ups' rules yourself in order to keep playing. If you play on a grown-up's phone, you will first have to take your character back on your own phone.
If these rules change, the game will show them to you again and you will have to accept them to continue the adventure. Today's rules are always at this address: fr-k-en-cgu-v1.html.
Any questions? An adult in your clan can write to donjons@grisloup.com. Have a great adventure!
