The CSCL Indian Ocean container ship is hard aground in Germany's Elbe River. With an overall length of 399 metres and a cargo carrying capacity of 19,100 containers, it is one of the world's largest container ships. An overflight of the area showed no signs of pollution. Das Containerschiff CSCL Indian Ocean sitzt in der Elbe auf Grund fest. Mit einer Gesamtlaenger von 399 Metern und einer Kapazitaet von 19100 Containern ist sie eines der groessten Containerschiffe der Welt. Bei einem Ueberflug konnte keine Umweltverschmutzung festgestellt werden.

This week, the International Maritime Organisation has the opportunity cap ship speeds globally from 2021/2022 and then gradually reduce them. This might not sound like a massive deal.
