Privacy Policy

Homeglow ("the App") is developed and operated by Sandeep Mysore. There are no accounts, no ads and no tracking. This policy explains exactly what happens to your photos and data.

What stays on your device

• Your original photos and every redesign you make.
• Your projects, chosen styles, shopping lists and colour palettes.
• Your credit balance and preferences.

These are saved in the App's private storage on your phone. We have no copy of them.

Photos you redesign

When you tap Redesign, the App sends that one photo, the space type and the style you chose (or the description you typed) to the Homeglow server, hosted on Google Cloud. The server:

• resizes the photo and sends it to Google's Gemini API to check it shows a room or outdoor space, create the redesigned image, and suggest similar items to buy and a colour palette;
• returns the results to your phone;
• does not store your photo, the redesign or your description after the request finishes (unless you choose to report a redesign — see below).

Google processes the images under the Gemini API Additional Terms and the Google Privacy Policy. Please don't photograph people, documents or anything private — the App is designed for rooms and outdoor spaces.

Reporting a redesign

If a redesign is offensive or wrong, you can tap Report image. The report sends a small copy of that redesigned image, the reason you chose, any note you add, and the style and space type to our private review storage on Google Cloud. Reports are used only to review and improve results, and are deleted automatically after 90 days. Your original photo is not included.

Camera and photo library

The App asks for camera access only when you choose to take a photo, and uses your photo library only to let you pick a photo or save a before and after image when you choose to.

Anonymous device ID and limits

The App creates a random ID on first launch and sends it with redesign requests so the server can apply fair daily limits. It isn't linked to your identity and the server forgets it within a day.

Shopping links

Shopping suggestions are estimates written by AI. Buttons open searches on Amazon or Google Shopping in your browser or their apps; what you do there is covered by their privacy policies. If Homeglow takes part in the Amazon Associates program, Homeglow earns from qualifying purchases; Amazon does not share your identity with us.

Purchases

Credit packs are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. They handle payment; we never see your card or account details. Credits are stored on your device and are not transferred between devices.

Advertising and tracking

Homeglow shows no ads and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Children

Homeglow is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Deleting your data

Delete a project in the App, use Settings › Delete all projects, or uninstall the App. Nothing is kept on our servers. See Delete data.
