"Learn to Soar: A Step-by-Step Guide on How to Fly in Legion World of Warcraft"

Unlocking the Skies: A Comprehensive Guide to Getting Flying in World of Warcraft: Legion

Embarking on a new adventure in World of Warcraft: Legion? Tired of ground travel slowing you down? Then it's time to take to the skies and unlock flying! This comprehensive guide will walk you through the process, ensuring you're soaring above Azeroth in no time.

Understanding the Requirements

Before you spread your wings, there are a few prerequisites to keep in mind:

• You must have reached level 110.
• You need to complete a series of quests to unlock flying in Broken Isles.
• Once you've unlocked flying in Broken Isles, you can purchase a flying mount from a vendor in Dalaran.

Unlocking Flying in Broken Isles

The path to flying begins with a questline called "Broken Isles Pathfinder, Part One." You can pick this up from Archmage Khadgar in Dalaran. The questline involves exploring the Broken Isles, completing world quests, and finding Artifacts. Here's a breakdown:

Exploring the Broken Isles

You'll need to discover all the major paths and landmarks in each of the Broken Isles zones. This involves finding hidden treasures and completing world quests. Your map will fill out as you explore, making it easy to track your progress.

Completing World Quests

World quests are a significant part of Legion's endgame. Completing them will not only help you unlock flying but also provide valuable rewards. Keep an eye on your map for quest markers and don't forget to check in with your class order hall for additional quests.

Finding Artifacts

Artifacts are powerful weapons that you'll collect throughout your adventures in Legion. To unlock flying, you'll need to find a total of 10 Artifacts. These can be obtained through quests, dungeons, and raids. Your Artifact hunter, Maiev Shadowsong, will provide guidance on where to find them.

Unlocking Pathfinder Part Two and Purchasing a Flying Mount

Once you've completed "Broken Isles Pathfinder, Part One," you'll unlock "Broken Isles Pathfinder, Part Two." This quest can be picked up from the same vendor in Dalaran. Completing this quest will allow you to purchase a flying mount from a vendor in Dalaran for 10,000 gold.

Flying in Other Zones

Legion introduced a new system for flying in other zones. Once you've unlocked flying in Broken Isles, you can purchase a similar achievement for other zones from a vendor in Dalaran. This achievement, called "Waking Shadows," requires you to complete a series of quests in the respective zone. Once completed, you'll be able to fly in that zone.

Tips for a Smooth Flight

Here are a few tips to make your journey to the skies as smooth as possible:

• Focus on your main story quests first. Many of these will lead you to the necessary world quests and Artifacts.
• Don't forget to check your map regularly. It's easy to miss quest objectives or hidden treasures.
• Consider joining a guild or finding a group to tackle world quests with. Many hands make light work, after all.

And there you have it! With this guide, you're well on your way to soaring through the skies of Azeroth. Happy flying!
