Kitchen cabinet and cupboard wrapping

Kitchen cabinet wrapping covers the visible faces of your units, the doors, drawer fronts, end panels, island and plinths, in a new architectural film while the cabinets stay fitted. KWrap's cabinet wrapping service covers London, the South East and Bristol.

Cabinets, cupboards and units: the same job

People search for cabinet wrapping, cupboard wrapping and unit wrapping, and they all mean the same thing: re-covering the fronts of the kitchen units. The inside of the cupboards, the shelves and the hinges are left as they are.

Popular changes

The finishes guide explains each film family.

Handles, islands and plinths

Handles come off before wrapping and go back on afterwards, or new handles can be fitted at the same time. Islands are wrapped on every visible face, including the back panel and end panels. Plinths and cornice are wrapped to match, so the whole kitchen reads as one finish.

What the survey checks

Before quoting, KWrap checks for swollen edges near the sink and dishwasher, loose or peeling foil, and chips that would show through the film. Small chips are filled and sanded. Damage that cannot be made sound is pointed out before any work is agreed.

Questions

Do the cabinets have to come out?

No. The cabinets stay fitted. Doors may be taken off their hinges to be wrapped and then rehung.

Can you wrap the inside of the cupboards?

The usual job covers the visible fronts and panels. Inside faces can be discussed at the survey if they are on show, for example in glass-fronted units.
