File Commander Help

File Commander lets you manage files located both on your device, and remotely on network locations, cloud services, and even FTP servers. You can organize files by type or location to ease navigation.

The first thing you'll encounter when opening the app is the Home screen (detailed below). The Hamburger icon at the upper left side of the screen is used for quick navigation through the app's various features and menus. Along with most of the menus found on the Home screen are the FTP, Local Network, Cloud, Settings and Help & Feedback menus. Additionally, in the upper right corner of the screen is the Our Apps button in which you can browse through some of the other popular MobiSystems apps. Lastly, at the top of the Navigation menu is the Sign in feature. Users that have signed in can take advantage of an ever-increasing list of perks that are not available otherwise. The File Commander Home screen is where you'll find a range of customizable quick-access tiles. Customizing quick-access tiles is done by a tap on the Add icon, where you can then check/uncheck the elements you'd like displayed. You can further customize your Homescreen by dragging the various tiles into different positions.

Quick-access tiles include shortcuts to file categories, favorites, downloads, and more:

	Pictures – Image files located on your device, listed by storage.
	Music – Audio files located on your device, listed by storage.
	Videos – Video files located on your device, listed by storage.
	Documents – Office files located on your device, listed by storage.
	Downloads – Your default Android download directory.
	Recycle Bin* – Deleted files and folders, which are restorable.
	Favorites* – Bookmarked files and folders for quick access.
	PC File Transfer – Move files between your device and computer.
	Archives – Compressed files located on your device, listed by storage.
	Secured files* – Hide and encrypt files and folders, making them invisible outside of File Commander.
	Recent – A list of your recently viewed files.
	Internal Storage – Provides you with the most in-depth look at your Android filesystem..
