Freelance UX/UI Designer

Location: Remote / Jordan (Amman-based preferred for meetings, but not required) Contract Type: Project-Based Freelance Contract


The Role

We are seeking an experienced Freelance UX/UI Designer to lead the redesign of our website. The ideal candidate will transform our current site into a modern, responsive, and user-friendly platform. You will be responsible for the visual look (UI) and the user journey (UX), ensuring the site works seamlessly across devices.


Note: This is a design-only role. You will be handing off your designs to a separate development team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsive Design: Design a “Mobile-First” experience. A significant portion of our traffic is mobile, and the design must reflect that priority.
  • Visual Interface (UI): Create high-fidelity mockups for key pages (Homepage, About, Services/Projects, Contact, etc.)
  • Prototyping: Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate user flow and navigation structures before final approval.
  • Developer Handoff: Prepare organized design files, with a clear style guide (typography, color palette, spacing) for the development team.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating previous website redesigns, specifically showcasing mobile responsive layouts.
  • UX/UI Proficiency: Mastery of modern design tools (Figma is preferred).
  • Bilingual Design Strategy: Experience designing for Arabic (Right-to-Left) and English (Left-to-Right) interfaces is highly desirable.
  • Communication: Ability to explain design decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.


Project Scope

This project is for the design phase only.

  1. Wireframes (Low fidelity)
  2. High-fidelity UI Mockups (Desktop & Mobile)
  3. Style Guide / Design System basics


Timeline

  • Estimated Duration: 8–12 Weeks
