CAIRO, EGYPT – Three South Sudanese children who went missing in the Egyptian capital Cairo on Thursday afternoon have been found in an area near the capital Cairo, the family has told Sudans Post this morning.

Veronica John, the mother of the three, said they have been searching all night for the three children and that they were found in Heliopolis, an area few kilometers outside the Egyptian capital Cairo’s Center.

“I am happy to inform you that my children have been found,”  an emotional Veronica said. “After searching for several nights, we have finally found them. We found them in Heliopolis near Ain Shams.”

The three siblings are Nyazola Ruot Gai, 13, Chieng Ruot Gai, 10, and Goar Ruot Gai, 7.
