JUBA — South Sudan’s main armed opposition leader and First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny is no longer under house arrest in the capita Juba and has been going to church before the current coronavirus lockdown was imposed, a spokesman for the SPLM-IO told Sudans Post Sunday.

This comes as several theories have continued to spread regarding the SPLM-IO leader’s security status as an opposition leader in Juba. Some have hinted at possibility that Machar is still under house arrest.

Speaking to Sudans Post on Sunday evening, SPLM-IO Director of Information Puok Both Baluang said Machar is no longer under restrictions saying he has only seized to participate in public gatherings as results of the important preventive measures against the coronavirus pandemic.

“H.E. Dr. Riek Machar seized attending public gotherings/ceremonies as a commitment to observe preventive measures of the COVID-19 one of which is social distancing,” Baluang told Sudans Post when asked as to why the FVP is not attending public events and event not going to Church.

“After the lifting of the partial look down in the country, he has been attending Sunday mass in the Presbyterian church in Jebel,” he added.

“Machar no longer under restrictions in Juba – spokesman”

You better pray to Ngundeng Buong magic to keep his reincarnate, ‘the left-handed and gaped-teeth Nuer messiah’ in house arrest for his own safety.

There are a lot South Sudanese who have been utterly wronged and bitterly betrayed by Mr. Riek Machar with his *naked and toxic political ambition to be a leader at all costs with destruction and divisions of South Sudanese social fabric*, Who are baying for Mr. ‘Riek Machar head’ on the slightest opportunity.

Mr. Riek Machar had made million potential South Sudanese enemies.
