Tiny Trips

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 16, 2026

Tiny Trips ("the App") is developed and operated by Sandeep Mysore. It has no accounts. This policy explains exactly what data the App handles, where it goes, and why.

What stays on your device

Finished tickets keep only Google place IDs, not place names. Station names are looked up again when you open an old ticket.

Location

If you choose Near me, the App asks for your location while it is in use. It is used for two things:

The App never tracks your location in the background. You can decline location and type a city or pick an airport instead.

Cities, airports and trip planning

What you type in the city or airport field, your chosen hours, mood, interests and the places you pick are sent to the trip server to build your plan. The server uses:

Plans are not stored on the server. The server keeps short technical logs (such as errors and request counts) without your location or trip contents.

Anonymous device ID and limits

The App creates a random ID on first launch and sends it with trip requests so the server can apply fair daily limits. It isn't linked to your identity or advertising ID, and the server forgets it within a day.

Maps and directions

The Map view shows a Google map, loaded directly from Google. Directions open Google Maps. Google processes that use under the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Maps Terms.

Advertising (free version of the iOS and Android apps)

Free users can choose to watch a short ad from Google AdMob for an extra line. Ads are never shown unless you choose to watch one, and never to holders of the All-Lines Pass. To serve and measure ads, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect:

This data is collected and processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services. Your trips, photos and location from check-ins are never shared with advertisers.

Your choices about ads

Purchases

The All-Lines Pass is sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. They handle payment; we never see your card or account details. The App only learns whether the pass was purchased.

Children

Tiny Trips is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Deleting your data

Delete any ticket (and its photos) inside the App, or uninstall the App to remove everything. Nothing about your trips is kept on our servers. See Delete data.
