One hundred and ten people have been killed in Kaduna and 198 injured, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) reveals.

The casualty was recorded in 350 road crashes between January and July this year. The crashes involved 2,874 persons.

The FRSC sector commander, Hafiz Mohammed, disclosed this on Friday in Kaduna.

He explained that most crashes were caused by speeding, overloading, etc.

“FRSC is committed to achieving set objectives in line with the ‘2021 Corporate Strategic Goals of the Corps’,” Mr Mohammed said.

The sector commander added that the FRSC would continue to improve road safety awareness and enforcement of traffic rules and regulations to reduce road crashes to the barest minimum.
