INEC declared Mr Adeleke the winner after he defeated his closest rival, Bola Oyebamiji of the APC, and 13 other contestants.
Governor Ademola Adeleke is on the verge of being declared the winner of the Osun governorship poll by INEC.
The All Progressives Congress in Osun has alleged that members and supporters of the Accord Party are circulating unverified AI-generated election results
“The figures collated from the polling units and wards clearly show that the people of Osun State have renewed their mandate for Governor Adeleke,” he said.
The CDD said the election was generally peaceful, with some operational challenges.
INEC has uploaded results from 3,292 of the 3,763 polling units to IReV.
Mr Adeleke polled 287 votes, while the All Progressives Congress (APC) polled 87.
Mr Adeleke polled 125 votes to emerge the winner at the polling unit.
Mr Oyebamiji urged his supporters to be vigilant and protect their votes.
Mr Oyebamiji of the APC secured 256 votes while ADC governorship candidate Najeem Salaam secured only 13 votes.
