Mr Sambo thanked the governor for his support in ensuring the accreditation of programmes in the college.
In his address to the council, Mr Abdulrazaq said the inauguration was another step in the evolution of KWASUED, an initiative of the administration.
Mr Tsafe said that the problem was inherited from the previous government.
He also said that it was their hope that the deliberations would culminate in meaningful resolutions.
He also noted that the struggle to upgrade NBTE to a national polytechnic commission has started.
Mr Fulata urged the university to ensure supervisors do not harass, intimidate, or unnecessarily delay students.
He commended the governor for his commitment to the development of the education sector.
He said the updated curriculum aimed to create a more inclusive, flexible, and relevant educational framework.
He said, “We will go with 16 years and we are going to meet with JAMB and others on that.’’
Mr Ndaeyo said that the university was running a total of 100 programmes in 117 departments under 19 faculties.
