The management of the Plateau United FC of Jos has fixed Monday to resume training in preparation for the commencement of the 2021/2022 season of the Nigeria Professional Football League.
The club’s media officer, Albert Dakup, disclosed this in a statement on Saturday in Jos.
Mr Dakup said the players were to report at the team’s training ground at the Zaria road stadium at 8:00 a.m. on the same date.
He explained that the players would be trained by the newly appointed Technical Adviser, Fidelis Elechukwu, and Chief Coach of the club, Abdulazeez Abara.
“Both old and the newly recruited players are expected to report at the Jos international stadium to begin preparations ahead of the new season.
“Any player who fails to report on Monday will face severe disciplinary action as management will not tolerate indiscipline under any guise,” he warned.
