2023: Dele Momodu receives royal blessings from Ooni of Ife, Emir of Ilorin

Mr Momodu is yet to pick his nomination form.

On Friday, Nigerian journalist and publisher of Ovation International, Dele Momodu, visited prominent traditional rulers in Ile Ife and Ilorin to receive royal blessings for his 2023 presidential ambition.

 In Ilorin, the Emir, Kolapo Sulu-Gambari, prayed for Mr Momodu asking that God grant him the power to change Nigeria for the better. 

Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi also showered prayers on the Ife-born celebrity journalist.

Mr Momodu declared his intention to run for president under opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) months ago. The PDP began sale of nomination form for aspirants on Wednesday with the form for presidential aspirants costing BRO million. 

Mr Momodu is yet to pick his nomination form.
Once a former presidential candidate of the National Conscience Party, Mr Momodu was a key member of the truncated MKO Abiola campaign organisation in the 90s. 

Mr Momodu was born in 1960 and attended the Obafemi Awolowo University. He started publishing Ovation international in 1996 and also writes a weekly column for ThisDay newspapers.
